Just a reminder that the Annual Meeting is coming up this Saturday August 3rd at 10 am-12 pm. Our Neighborhood Block Party will be held right after 12-2pm. The HOA will be providing pizza and drinks for lunch (12pm). We will have a bounce house and face painting for the kids during the Block Party. We recommend leaving your children at home until the Block Party starts so there are minimum interruptions. Please RSVP by Friday at 5 pm so we can order enough food for everyone. Hopefully everyone has seen the Reminder signs at one of our street entrances SW 29th, SW 33rd or SW 41st Street and put it on your calendar.
Please bring your own chairs so we are sure to have plenty of seating. We have 5 picnic tables and one will be used for food. If you are unable to attend, please be sure to get your proxy's turned into us. (You can drop them off at the Pavilion mailbox located at 9021 SW 33rd Street, mail them to Neighborhood Services or you can give them to a neighbor who is attending the meeting and they can turn it in on your behalf. All Proxy’s must be given to a Board Member or the Neighborhood Services Rep. Raquel Glover who will be in attendance. Remember it is one vote per household.
Just to clarify, to run for the HOA board you must be a homeowner in Morgan Creek. You can't be a relative of someone who lives here. We are really looking forward to seeing all our homeowners present so we can discuss business required to make changes and updates to our neighborhood. In order to do that we must meet quorum (the minimum number homeowners that must be present at any of its meetings to make the proceedings of that meeting valid.) We need a total of 43 homes either present to vote or turning in their proxy’s to meet quorum.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read this. See you Saturday.
